Destinations of Coconut Oil Export in Apri

Export of coconut oil still consisted largely of crude coconut oil at 41,615 MT which accounted for more than three-fourths of the coconut oil export mix, and the remainder comprised of  cochin (refined bleached) oil at 9,379 MT and RBD (refined, bleached and deodorized) oil at 2,635 MT.  Combined revenue was USD47.581 million.
Europe remained major destination cornering 32,828 MT of the total oil mix (61.2%), trailed by  the US at 9,363 MT (17.5%), China 6,654 MT (12.4%), Indonesia 3,000 MT (5.6%), Japan 1,600 MT (3.0%), and seven others with uptakes no more than 43 MT.
Europe was leading market for crude coconut oil responsible for 32,615 MT (Netherlands 30,915, Spain 1,700).  The  other two importers were the US at 6,000 MT and  Indonesia 3,000 MT.  There were three outlets for cochin oil led by China with uptake at 5,020 MT, followed by the US at 2,759 MT and Japan at 1,600 MT.  
China also was leading buyer of RBD oil at 1,634 MT, with the US some distance behind at 604 MT, trailed by Europe at 213 MT (Netherlands 108, Germany 82, Bulgaria 20, Czech Republic 4), Malaysia 43 MT, Sri Lanka 41 MT, Canada 30 MT, South Korea 24 MT,  Australia 21 MT, Ecuador 17 MT, and New Zealand 8 MT.
