Performance of Philippine Top Non-Traditional Coconut Products Exports In June (part 2)

The following shows details of the next eight leading non-traditional coconut products exports in June (ranked 11th-18th) namely Coconut Milk Liquid, Nata de Coco, Biodiesel, Makapuno, Coconut Acid Oil, Coco Peat/Dust, Coconut Flour, Coir & Coir Products. 
Export of COCONUT MILK LIQUID generated USD851,823 from delivery of 677 MT (859 MT last year).  Malaysia remained the biggest market accounting for 77.7% or 526 MT during the month.  Following far behind were United Kingdom at 119 MT (17.6%), Japan 23 MT (3.4%) and six other countries with uptakes ranging 0.29-3 MT namely Australia, USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, South Korea.
NATA DE COCO turned in USD579,880 from shipment of 516 MT (406 MT). Japan was still a leading destination responsible for 190 MT (36.8%), trailed by United Arab Emirates at 98 MT (19.1%), USA 55 MT (10.7%), Australia 42 MT (8.1%), Italy 38 MT (7.3%), Bahrain 19 MT (3.6%), Vietnam 18 MT (3.4%), United Kingdom 11 (2.2%), Canada 10 (2.0%).  Other countries numbering 10 took in much lower loads ranging 0.41-8 MT consisting of Hong Kong, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Korea, Israel, France, New Zealand, Taiwan, Lebanon.
Overseas purchases of BIODIESEL amounted to USD475,324 from sale of 314 MT (511 MT).  The product went to three countries led by South Korea at 175 MT (55.7%), followed by Germany at 120 MT (38.0%), and Japan at 20 MT (6.2%).
International trade of MAKAPUNO registered revenue of USD235,766 with volume at 144 MT (43 MT). Major markets were Saudi Arabia at 54 MT (37.2%), USA at 45 MT (31.3%) and Canada at 26 MT (18.2%).  Other destinations took in smaller quantities ranging 0.01-5 MT namely Israel, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Spain, France, Lebanon, Japan, Vietnam.
COCONUT ACID OIL earned USD203,520 as it sold 324 MT (1,140 MT).  The shipment was shared between China and India with China taking in bulk of sales at 262 MT (81.0%).  India held 61 MT (19.0%).
COCO DUST/PEAT export of 3,219 MT worth USD193,474 went exclusively to China.
On the other hand, COCONUT FLOUR which sold 88 MT (127 MT) had turnover of USD116,849.   There were five country importers led by Taiwan at 27 MT (30.8%), trailed by Germany at 18 MT (20.2%), Australia at 17 MT (19.7%), Japan at 13 MT (14.7%) and China at 13 MT (14.6%).
Export proceeds from COIR & COIR PRODUCTS reached USD115,445 from orders of 885 MT (1,161 MT).  China was almost a sole buyer cornering 861 MT (97.2%) with the remainder at 25 MT going to Japan.
